Hotel Barrière L’Hôtel du Golf sits on higher ground above Deauville, overlooking the Normandy countryside and coastline. You’re staying right beside the Golf Barrière Deauville course, so it’s a true golf resort setup rather than a town hotel with golf nearby. The course is open and rolling, with wide fairways but enough elevation change and wind exposure to keep things interesting. It’s playable for mid-handicappers, though the sloping lies and large greens ask for solid approach play.

The hotel itself has a classic, slightly grand feel without being over the top. Rooms are comfortable and well-sized, many with course or countryside views.
