Group Golf Holidays

Group golf holidays organised for you from start to finish. Great courses, top hotels and no hassle for the organiser.

Why Choose a Group Golf Holiday?

Organising a golf trip for a group should be one of the best parts of being in a golf society or circle of mates who play. In reality, it’s often a headache. Chasing deposits, finding dates that work for everyone, booking tee times across multiple courses, sorting rooms, and trying to keep the cost fair for the whole group. That’s where we come in. We take the organising off your plate so you can actually enjoy the trip instead of spending six months herding cats to make it happen.

Whether you’re a golf society with an annual overseas trip, a group of friends putting something together for the first time, or a corporate group looking for a well run golf event, we handle everything. We’ll find the right destination, book the hotels, arrange tee times, sort flights and transfers, and give you a clear price per person so collecting money is straightforward. We’ve put together trips for groups of eight and groups of eighty, and the process is the same either way. You tell us what you want, we build it, and you turn up and play.

The bigger the group, the more there is to coordinate, and that’s where having someone who does this every day makes a real difference. Room allocations, tee time spacing so the whole group isn’t backed up on the first tee, dinner reservations for twenty plus people, and making sure the courses you’ve chosen can actually handle your numbers on the day you want to play. These are things that trip up a lot of self organised groups, and they’re things we deal with as standard.

What to Think About When Planning a Group Golf Trip

Group size shapes everything. For smaller groups of eight to twelve, you’ve got the most flexibility. Almost any resort or course combination works, tee times are easy to book, and you can usually dine together without needing a private area. Once you get above sixteen players, it’s worth thinking more carefully about which courses can accommodate you without long waits between groups. Some courses limit society bookings to certain days or cap the number of tee times available to visiting groups, so availability needs checking early. For very large groups of thirty or more, block bookings at the hotel and pre arranged tee time sheets become essential, and it’s often worth negotiating group rates on green fees, buggies and dining.

Taking the Pressure Off the Organiser

If you’re the one who always ends up organising the trip, you’ll know it can be a thankless job. We work directly with you as the group organiser, but we also set things up so that individual group members can manage their own bookings, pay their own deposits, and make personal adjustments without everything going through one person. That takes the pressure off and means you’re not spending your evenings chasing people for money or answering the same questions ten times over. We’ll give you a dedicated contact in our team who knows your trip inside out, so there’s always someone to call if anything needs changing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The earlier the better, especially for popular destinations and peak travel periods. For groups of twelve or more, we’d recommend booking at least four to six months ahead to secure the best tee times and hotel availability. Smaller groups can sometimes get away with shorter lead times, but early booking almost always means more choice and better rates. We can hold provisional bookings while you confirm numbers, so you don’t lose availability while waiting for everyone to commit.

It happens with almost every group trip and we’re used to it. We’ll always try to build in some flexibility so that adding or dropping a couple of people doesn’t cause problems. Hotel rooms can usually be adjusted up to a reasonable point before travel, and tee time numbers can often be tweaked. There may be cancellation terms that apply depending on when changes are made, but we’ll make those clear from the outset so there are no surprises. The sooner you let us know about changes, the easier they are to manage.

Yes. We know collecting money is one of the worst parts of organising a group trip, so we make it as easy as possible. Each group member can pay their own deposit and balance directly, and we’ll track payments so you’re not chasing people yourself. We’ll provide a clear per person breakdown so everyone knows exactly what they’re paying for, and we can accommodate individual extras like room upgrades or additional rounds without complicating the group booking.

In most cases, yes. Larger groups often qualify for reduced green fees, complimentary places, room upgrades or other added value depending on the destination and time of year. Some resorts offer a free place for every ten or twelve paying golfers, which can be used as a saving for the group or as a perk for the organiser. We’ll always negotiate the best possible deal on your behalf and pass any savings or extras directly to you.
