Key Information
Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club stands on the waterfront in Dubai Marina, with its own access onto Marina Walk and JBR’s beach just over a kilometre away. Part of Emaar’s Vida brand, it is a modern, relaxed hotel with a sociable feel, and the promenade restaurants and bars outside mean evenings are sorted without a taxi. It works well for golf groups and couples who want a lively base where most things are on foot.
The hotel has 158 rooms and suites, all with free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities and views over the marina or the skyline. Suites add a bathtub and extra space, useful with golf bags in tow. There is no beach on site, but the infinity pool makes up for it, looking straight down the marina with a bar alongside for drinks and light bites. Origins handles the main dining, Stage 2 covers coffee and casual plates, and a 24-hour gym and kids’ club complete the picture.
Golf is the real draw of the location. The Montgomerie is around 5km away in Emirates Hills, and Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Hills Golf Club and The Els Club are all a straightforward drive inland, giving a good mix of desert-style and parkland golf across a trip. Emirates Golf Club, home of the Majlis and the floodlit Faldo, is just as close as The Montgomerie for anyone wanting to add a round, and Jumeirah Golf Estates is within reach too. Add the metro and tram ten minutes’ walk away and Dubai Marina Mall even closer, and it is an easy place to build a Dubai golf break around.

Most guests remember two things about Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club: the infinity pool and the people who work there. The pool sits above the water with a view down the length of the marina, and a bar beside it keeps drinks and light bites coming through the afternoon. Reviews mention the staff by name more often than usual, which says a lot about the easygoing, friendly way the place is run.
Bedrooms are bright and modern, facing either the marina or the city skyline. Free Wi-Fi, an interactive TV and tea and coffee facilities come as standard. Golfers travelling with bags and a week of luggage may prefer a suite, which has more floor space and a bathtub.
Food is simple to sort. Breakfast and international dishes are served at Origins, with Stage 2 for coffee and something lighter. For dinner, Marina Walk is directly outside, lined with restaurants and bars along the water, and JBR’s beach is just over a kilometre further on.
This is a hotel for golfers who like a bit of life around them once the round is finished. Dubai Marina is busy and built up, and there is no beach or spa on site, so those wanting peace and space would be happier at a resort.

Golf Travel Centre never disappoints...
Highly recommend Golf Travel Centre, this is going to be our third trip with them and it’s always so easy and stress free, I always book through Daniel who is always on hand to answer our group questions and is quick to reply. If you’re thinking of booking a golf trip give them a try.
Second Golf Trip...
This is the second trip booked through Tom Huston and Golf Travel Centre. Fantastic service yet again answering any query we had immediately and organising what I’m sure will be another great golf trip Highly recommended

The main reason is the mix of golf and location. Dubai’s courses are spread across the city, and the marina is one of the best bases for reaching them. The Montgomerie is close enough for a relaxed start, with its links feel, big contoured greens and plenty of water. Arabian Ranches offers true desert golf, Dubai Hills is a parkland layout set against the downtown skyline, and The Els Club asks for the most thought around the greens. Emirates Golf Club and Jumeirah Golf Estates are also within reach for anyone adding a round. That is a lot of variety from one hotel.
The second reason is what happens after golf. Many Dubai golf hotels are quiet in the evening. Here, the promenade is right outside, with restaurants, bars and cafés along the water. Groups can walk to dinner, and nobody needs a taxi to find a drink. The infinity pool is a strong place to spend a free afternoon, with a view down the marina that few hotels in the area can match.
The hotel itself is easy to like. It is modern, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are relaxed and helpful. Three in-house venues cover breakfast, coffee and poolside food, and the bikes are a nice touch.
There are trade-offs. There is no beach at the hotel, so a swim in the sea means a walk or a short taxi to JBR. It is a city hotel on a compact site, with no golf on the doorstep and no resort grounds. The marina is busy, and roads around it slow down at peak times, so it pays to allow extra time before an early tee time. Anyone after a quiet, secluded stay may prefer a hotel in Emirates Hills.
