Key Information

The Epicenter of the Palace Empire

Moon Palace sits just south of Cancún, offering a relaxed, all-inclusive stay with two solid championship courses on site. The Jack Nicklaus–designed layouts—Moon Palace Golf Club’s Sunrise and Nizuc courses—are flat, open, and forgiving from the tee, with wide fairways, water hazards, and plenty of bunkering to keep things interesting. It’s enjoyable golf rather than punishing, well suited to holiday rounds.

The resort itself is large and lively, with modern rooms, multiple pools, and direct beach access. Accommodation is comfortable and contemporary, with golf buggies shuttling you around the property. Dining is a highlight, with a wide choice of restaurants covering everything from casual buffets to steakhouses and international options.

Practice facilities are strong, including a spacious driving range and short-game areas. Service is efficient and well organised, making it easy to fit golf around pool time, spa visits, or a trip into Cancún. It’s a good choice if you want straightforward golf, warm weather, and everything taken care of in one place.

Key Information

Expect an easy, well organised golf stay where everything is designed to keep the day flowing. Wide fairways that relieve pressure on the tee and smooth, consistent greens are features of the consistently well-maintained courses. Water and bunkers add interest without slowing play, making rounds feel relaxed and social.

Around the resort, the scale is large but surprisingly efficient. Golf buggies transport you swiftly, personnel maintain punctuality, and nothing seems complicated to set up. It’s lively, polished, and comfortable, with golf fitting naturally between pool time, meals, and time on the beach.
