Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel is situated in Tamarin Bay on the western coast of the island. It features an 18-hole championship golf course, 4 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts and a spa.
The spacious rooms are decorated in warm hues including orange and red. Each room has a private terrace or balcony and includes a satellite TV, DVD player and a minibar. The private bathroom has a shower.
Restaurant La Madrague offers international cuisine with a Creole accent, Restaurant La Plage serves light meals around the beach pool and Bar Le Bar serves cocktails overlooking the bay.
The Casela Nature Park, housing 1,500 birds, giant tortoises, lemurs and other animals, is a 10-minute drive away. Other activities that can be arranged include water-skiing, diving, quad biking and Segway rides.
Tamarina is the only boutique hotel in Mauritius to have its own golf course, which you will enjoy to the full. The championship 18-hole, par 72 course was designed by architect Rodney Wright. It is both technically challenging and fun to play, and offers breath-taking views over the Rempart Mountain and Tamarin Bay.
