Costa Ragusa is an exciting new golf destination in south-eastern Sicily, transforming the former Donnafugata Golf Resort into a luxury retreat with two 18-hole championship courses, redesigned by two of Europe’s best-known golfers.

The Queens Course, redesigned by Miguel Ángel Jiménez, is scheduled to open in 2027, followed by the Castle Course, redesigned by José María Olazábal, in 2028. Both layouts will make the most of the natural Sicilian landscape, offering varied terrain, strategic bunkering and a challenge designed to appeal to different abilities.

Accommodation is a major part of the development, with the refurbished Donnafugata Golf Resort joining the wider Costa Ragusa destination. Guests can look forward to five-star accommodation, Mediterranean dining, wellness facilities and easy access to the surrounding coastline.

Away from the golf, the region offers plenty to explore. The historic streets of Ragusa Ibla, the beautiful beaches around Marina di Ragusa and the Baroque towns of Modica and Scicli are all worth visiting.
