A Chic Soulful Gem in Albufeira

Kimpton Atlântico Algarve sits above São Rafael Beach, just outside Albufeira, giving you sea views and coastal walks on the doorstep while keeping the busy resort centre a short taxi ride away. The setting is a big part of the appeal, with rugged cliffs, sandy coves and Atlantic sunsets shaping the feel of the stay.

The hotel is modern and design-led, with a calm, upscale atmosphere rather than a traditional resort vibe. Usually, check-in goes well, and the staff is welcoming and holiday-minded. There’s a large outdoor pool area for relaxed days, plus an indoor pool and spa for cooler months. Dining covers Mediterranean and Portuguese flavours, with bars that work well for evening drinks overlooking the coast. Service is friendly and efficient, and it suits couples, groups and golfers wanting a scenic base close to courses across the central Algarve.

Excellent communication and tailored to our request

This year it’s was time to try Portugal...

This year it’s was time to try Portugal. What a fantastic trip we had, it was seamless from start to finish. A great hotel, lovely food and the service was second to none. The courses were amazing. All in all another fantastic golf tour. Now we need to decide on the venue for next year with the added bonus of knowing Phil will sort us out wherever we choose.

I have to say my experience in booking...

I have to say my experience in booking our 2026 holiday has been excellent! Daniel has been amazing and would highly recommend!

Fantastic booking process

I found the company via TikTok, I messaged not expecting much as personally trying to book all the golf trip we was finding it difficult due to foreign booking etc. I received a reply back within a few hours and reached out to via email with multiple quotes. The whole experience was amazing and Luis was great with any queries. Definitely would recommend!

4th holiday booked with GTC

4th holiday booked with GTC. Our week in March was our 3rd trip to Marrakech and went exactly to schedule. From flight’s, courses, tee times and hotel, Daniel has always been very professional and helpful ensuring that our complete golf package is exactly what we want. Their prices are competitive and make for a stress free golf holiday.

Great service from start to finish

Great service from start to finish, I have booked multiple trips through Ian Ali – he does all the leg work once you have floated an idea and comes back quickly to any questions or queries.
Would certainly recommend

Why Stay at Kimpton Atlantico Algarve?

For golfers, this hotel offers a scenic base that balances great golf access with genuine downtime. You can head out early to courses across the central Algarve, then return to sea air, open views, and a slower pace. Many guests enjoy unwinding by the pool or with a drink overlooking the cliffs after a round. The setting feels removed from busy resort centres, yet Albufeira is close when you want variety in the evening. It suits golfers who appreciate design, location, and atmosphere as much as course time.
