Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa sits on Jamaica’s north coast, around 20 minutes east of Montego Bay and close to Sangster International Airport, making it one of the easier Caribbean golf resorts to reach from the UK. The setting is classic tropical Jamaica — palm-lined beachfront, warm sea breezes, and hillside views stretching inland from the coast.

The golf here centres around Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, an 18-hole layout designed by Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril. The front nine climbs through former sugar plantation land with tighter fairways and elevation changes, while the back nine opens out along the Caribbean coastline with several holes directly overlooking the sea. It’s not overwhelmingly difficult from the regular tees, but the wind, uneven lies, and a few forced carries keep things interesting throughout the round.

Back at the resort, the atmosphere is relaxed and geared towards easy all-inclusive stays. Rooms are modern and comfortable, many with sea views or balconies, while the resort itself includes multiple restaurants, bars, pools, a private beach, spa, fitness centre, and one of Jamaica’s larger waterparks. Montego Bay’s nightlife, shopping, and excursions are also close enough for day trips if you want a break from the resort.
