Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort is one of Belek’s most established golf hotels, known mainly for the Faldo Course next door. Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, the 27-hole layout mixes parkland and woodland with water hazards that come into play without feeling unfair. It’s a proper test from the back tees, but still enjoyable for mid-handicappers thanks to generous fairways and clear sightlines. Staying here is straightforward and comfortable. Rooms are modern and well-sized, many with sea views, and the all inclusive setup works well for golfers who want everything taken care of. Food is reliable rather than flashy, with a main buffet and several à la carte options, plus plenty of spots for a post-round drink.

Expect good course conditions all year round, especially in spring and autumn when Belek is at its best. The Faldo Course has hosted professional events and it shows in the layout, with strong greens, well-placed bunkering, and holes that reward smart positioning. You’ll need to think your way around, particularly on the Championship nine.

The atmosphere at the resort is calm and golfer focused. Staff are used to handling tee times, early breakfasts, and group bookings. With 27-holes on site, it’s easy to get plenty of golf in without long transfers. Everything runs smoothly, which makes it a popular choice for repeat visitors and golf groups.

This year it’s was time to try Portugal. What a fantastic trip we had, it was seamless from start to finish. A great hotel, lovely food and the service was second to none. The courses were amazing. All in all another fantastic golf tour. Now we need to decide on the venue for next year with the added bonus of knowing Phil will sort us out wherever we choose.
