Whilst it offers a perfect retreat, the hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the A1, less than an hour's drive from East Midlands Airport and one hour by rail from London's Kings Cross.
The attached Stantons Brasserie offers classic British and French cuisine with a modern twist, using local Lincolnshire produce wherever possible. The Claret Jug pub boasts views over the Lakes Course and offers classic pub food alongside local guest ales and wines from around the world.
Beautifully appointed with all of the facilities you would expect from a premier four star hotel, Belton Woods represents an exciting new generation of business and leisure venue, where every conceivable need is catered for without you even having to leave the grounds of the hotel.
Lakes Course
A real golf test. Many greens are guarded by lakes so choose your club carefully.
A beautiful course peppered with water hazards. This par 72 Championship course can be a tricky course for high handicappers, with lakes guarding the approaches to many greens.
Course management and shot placement is key here. The holes are long and the fairways tight, so anything wayward from the tee could result in you having to lay up in front of the water. The 9th hole is over 600 yards, one of the longest in Europe.
Woodside Course
This is a beautiful par 73 course with lush, undulating fairways. Much of the course runs alongside the magnificent woodlands on the estate.
The Woodside contrasts with the Lakes course in many ways - it is well worth playing both if you are here on a weekend golf break.
The shorter Woodside course, 6,623 yards long, runs along the forested estate - spectacular at any time of year - especially in the autumn. The undulating fairways and natural hazards need careful negotiation - this is a real 'thinkers' course for high handicappers and pros alike.
