The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club sits within the wider Puntacana Resort & Club, a large, well-run coastal estate just five minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. It’s a convenient setup—easy arrival, plenty of space, and direct access to two of the best courses in the region.

Golf here is split between Corales Golf Course and La Cana Golf Course, both designed by Tom Fazio. Corales is the headline layout—more dramatic, with several holes running right along the Caribbean Sea. The closing stretch, known as the “Devil’s Elbow,” is the standout, with cliffside holes exposed to the wind and offering some of the best views in Caribbean golf. It’s a stronger test overall, especially if the breeze gets up.

La Cana is more forgiving and resort-friendly, with 27 holes set across three nines. It still has oceanfront holes and plenty of water in play, but wider fairways and a more open layout make it enjoyable for mixed-ability groups.

The Westin itself is modern and comfortable, with bright rooms, a good pool setup, beach access, and a handful of dining options. It’s not over-the-top luxury, but it’s well organised, easy to navigate, and suits golfers who want quality courses without the formality.
