Spacious Algarve Comfort Near the Coast

Set on landscaped grounds near Carvoeiro, Monte Santo Resort has a calm, residential feel rather than a traditional hotel atmosphere. Accommodation is made up of well-sized apartments and townhouses, all with separate living areas, kitchens, and terraces or balconies, more like a holiday home than a standard hotel room. It’s a practical choice for travellers who want comfort, space, and independence.

Facilities are solid and geared towards easy-going stays. There are several outdoor pools, an indoor pool, spa, gym, tennis courts, and a kids’ club in peak seasons. Dining includes a main restaurant serving Mediterranean-style dishes, plus a relaxed bar for evenings on site. Service is friendly and informal, and the resort generally runs at a slower, quieter pace than beachfront hotels.

Location is a real plus. Carvoeiro town and beach are a short drive away, with restaurants, cafés, and coastal paths close by. The resort is also well placed for exploring the wider Algarve, with several top golf courses, dramatic cliffs, and hidden beaches within easy reach. Faro Airport is around 45 minutes away, making arrivals and departures straightforward.

This year it’s was time to try Portugal. What a fantastic trip we had, it was seamless from start to finish. A great hotel, lovely food and the service was second to none. The courses were amazing. All in all another fantastic golf tour. Now we need to decide on the venue for next year with the added bonus of knowing Phil will sort us out wherever we choose.

Great Service!

The deal offered was cheaper than the usual companies that we travel with. Daniel was quick in all his responses and very patient and helpful with our queries.

Oliver was unbelievably helpful in arranging our golfing trip to Spain. He gave us our quote and I then wanted to change it, no questions asked he rearranged it straight away. I would highly recommend.
