Infinitum Golf Resort sits near Tarragona on Spain’s Costa Dorada, around an hour from Barcelona and 15 minutes from Reus Airport. It’s best known for its trio of courses, Lakes, Hills and Ruins, each offering a different challenge and feel. The Lakes Course is the standout, regularly ranked among Europe’s best, with water in play on most holes and a clear focus on strategy rather than brute force. Hills is more forgiving but still engaging, while Ruins winds through Roman archaeological remains and pine trees.

The overall vibe is calm, polished, and golf-focused. Expect wide fairways, fast greens and excellent course maintenance year-round. There’s no hotel directly on site, but a good selection of nearby apartments and high-quality hotels are used by most visiting golfers, many within a short transfer. The clubhouse is modern and well run, with a solid restaurant and bar that’s ideal for post-round food without fuss.

Away from the course, Tarragona’s old town, beaches, and Barcelona’s culture are all within easy reach, making it a good option for golfers who want more than just golf.

Infinitum suits mid-to-low handicap golfers but remains playable for higher handicaps thanks to generous fairways and sensible tee options. The Lakes Course is the most demanding and rewards course management, while Hills and Ruins provide balance over a multi-round trip. Service is professional and efficient, with a relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort.

With 36+ holes available daily, it works well for longer stays or groups. Infinitum has hosted DP World Tour Final Qualifying School and other elite amateur and professional events, which shows in the setup and standards. Practice facilities are excellent, and tee time management is smooth, even during busier periods.
