Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is a large, all-inclusive resort set along Bávaro Beach, around 30 minutes from the airport. It’s one of the bigger properties in the Dominican Republic, with a lively, entertainment-driven feel—think multiple pools, a full casino, live music, and plenty going on throughout the day and night.

Golf is played at Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay, an 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The layout runs just over 7,200 yards from the back tees and is known for its wide fairways, generous landing areas, and a relatively forgiving setup off the tee. That said, there’s enough bunkering, water, and coastal wind to keep things interesting. The closing stretch, which moves closer to the ocean, is where the course stands out most.

Accommodation is spread across a wide range of rooms and suites, all modern and well-equipped, though the scale of the resort means getting around can take time (shuttle buggies run regularly). Dining is a strong point, with multiple restaurants covering everything from steakhouses to Asian and Italian, alongside plenty of bars.

Overall, it’s a good fit if you want a mix of golf, beach time, and a more energetic resort atmosphere.
