ABOUT THE RESORT

One of only five Relais & Châteaux properties in New Zealand, and nestled amongst six-thousand acres of pasture land, this cluster of lodge buildings combines dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass, weathered woods and natural stone to stunning effect.

In the contemporary main lodge, there are many comfortably furnished nooks and crannies in which to relax in front of roaring log fires, along with stylish outdoor spaces, such as the heated infinity-edge swimming pool, Jacuzzi and poolside cabanas, just perfect for soporific indulgence during the day. 

The spacious and elegantly designed guest accommodation, meanwhile, is located in the lodge itself or in nearby buildings set on a hilltop above the lodge or along a nearby ridge, and offers luxurious furnishings, oversized baths and individual private balconies from which guests can enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular landscape and Pacific Ocean beyond.
