The 14-storey hotel opened in 2022 and is a modern four-star, with a relaxed, sociable feel that reflects the beach clubs and restaurants around it. It is a good fit for golf groups and couples who want a lively Palm setting without paying five-star rates.

The 389 rooms and suites come in Superior, Premium and One Bedroom Suite categories, many with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. Premium Rooms face the sea, with the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Marina skyline in view. Rooms are contemporary and well designed, though more compact than those at the larger Palm resorts, and the rooftop sky pool makes up for it with the best outlook in the building.

The hotel is well placed for golf. Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Hills Golf Club and The Montgomerie Golf Club make up the three-round package, with The Els Club added on the four-round option, and the quick route off the Palm keeps the drive to each one simple. Expect a modern, easy-going stay. Staff are one of the hotel’s strengths and are regularly praised by guests for being friendly and quick to help. Rooms are contemporary and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows and, in many cases, a balcony, and the Premium Rooms add a sea view. They are more compact than those at the bigger Palm resorts, but well designed and kept very clean.

The Radisson is at its best outdoors and after a round. The rooftop sky pool draws a sociable crowd through the afternoon, the beach is a short walk from the lobby, and dining ranges from seafood at Magadan to Tex-Mex at Esco-Bar. Palm West Beach adds a long line of bars and restaurants just outside. It suits golfers who like some atmosphere in the evening, though the beach clubs nearby play music late, so a higher floor is the better choice for an early tee time.
