Classic Golf in Central Mumbai

Fariyas Hotel Mumbai is a smart city-base option for golfers wanting to stay in South Mumbai rather than at a purpose-built resort. Set in Colaba, close to the Gateway of India and the harbour, it gives you easy access to the city’s sights, restaurants, and business districts while still offering a quieter feel than you might expect from central Mumbai. Rooms are comfortable and modern, with city-view and sea-view options, and the hotel also has an outdoor pool, gym, and all-day dining, which helps after an early start or a long day in traffic.

For golf, the usual draw is Willingdon Sports Club, one of Mumbai’s best-known courses. It is not attached to the hotel, and golf in Mumbai is generally private-club based, so Fariyas works best as a well-located hotel for a golf trip rather than a full golf resort. For golfers who want a few nights in the city with one memorable round and good off-course options, it does the job well.
