The Parkland Jewel of the Ayrshire Coast

Fairfield House Hotel sits right on Ayr’s seafront, overlooking the Firth of Clyde and just a short walk from the town centre. The setting is one of its biggest strengths—you’ve got sea views from the hotel, beach on the doorstep, and easy access to restaurants and bars in town, all while being within reach of some of Scotland’s strongest golf.

Golf isn’t on site, but that’s part of the appeal here. Ayrshire gives you plenty of choice nearby, with courses including Royal Troon Golf Club, Prestwick Golf Club and Trump Turnberry all comfortably accessible. The golf in this part of Scotland is classic links—firm fairways, rolling dunes and coastal wind always shaping the round.

Back at the hotel, rooms are spacious and traditionally styled, with plenty of natural light and many looking out towards the sea. There’s a leisure club with a pool, sauna and gym, which is a welcome extra after a long day on the course. Dining is straightforward and reliable, and the overall feel is relaxed and friendly rather than formal. For golfers wanting Ayrshire golf with everything close by, it’s a very easy stay.

Best golf holiday ever to Costa Del Sol

Had the best trip ever, Lee was really helpful and patient in the booking process, and everything just went really well. Transfers were all great, hotel superb, golf courses (El Chaparral, La Cala America and Europa) fantastic.

Faultless Service!!

The team at Golf Travel Centre are truly great to deal with. I had a Corporate group of 8 persons traveling to Spain for 4 days and the team at Golf Travel Centre had everything taken care of. I cannot fault any part of the trip. The team were very accessible and responsive on any queries or changes needed to the itinerary. In advance of the trip, they had provided a full digital itinerary with all contact numbers needed. It was a seamless and easy process. In short, I would have no hesitation using Golf Travel Centre again or recommending them to a colleague or peer for corporate group bookings.
