The Mediterranean Masterpiece of the Costa Daurada

INFINITUM Golf is built around three courses that offer noticeably different experiences. The Greg Norman-designed Lakes Course is an 18-hole layout running through the protected Sèquia Major wetlands, with water affecting play on 14 holes. It’s strategic rather than brutally long, rewarding sensible positioning and accurate approaches.

The Hills Course provides the biggest change of scenery, climbing through Mediterranean pine forest with elevated tees, rolling ground and wide views towards the sea. Its risk-and-reward finish brings water into play and makes for a memorable end to the round. The course has also undergone significant renovation work aimed at improving its design, playing surfaces and overall playability.

Completing the line-up is Ruins, a nine-hole Greg Norman design laid out around Roman archaeological remains dating back to the second century BC. It’s shorter, but clever greens and strategic holes make it much more than an add-on.

There isn’t a conventional resort hotel attached to the golf complex; golf packages use nearby accommodation, while the resort itself offers two clubhouses, restaurants, practice facilities and a seafront Beach Club. Tarragona is nearby, while Barcelona is roughly 1¼ hours away by road.

Key Information

Expect plenty of variety across 45 holes, with each course bringing its own character. Lakes is the strategic test, where water appears regularly and sensible positioning often matters more than distance. Hills feels completely different, climbing through pine covered terrain with elevated tees and sweeping Mediterranean views, while Ruins offers a fascinating nine holes shaped around ancient Roman remains.

Course presentation and practice facilities are geared toward serious golf, but multiple tees make the experience accessible for mixed ability groups too. There’s enough golf here to fill several days comfortably, and the regular presence of DP World Tour Qualifying School adds a little extra tournament atmosphere.
