ONA Lomas Village sits within the Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort in the Murcia region, around 25 minutes from Murcia airport and just under an hour from Alicante. It’s a purpose-built golf resort, designed with space, light and convenience in mind, ideal if you want everything close at hand without a busy hotel feel.

Accommodation is made up of modern apartments with terraces or balconies, many overlooking the course or surrounding countryside. You’ll find self-catering facilities throughout, plus on-site bars, restaurants and pools, making it easy to settle into a relaxed routine between rounds.

The real draw is Hacienda del Álamo Golf Course, an 18-hole championship layout designed by Dave Thomas. It’s long, open and fair from the tee, with wide fairways encouraging confident driving. Water comes into play on several holes, especially around the greens, so accuracy still matters. The course has previously hosted European Tour Qualifying School events, which gives you a good idea of the standard. Off the course, the area is quiet and authentic. Murcia city is close enough for evenings out, while the beaches of Mazarrón and the Mar Menor are an easy drive if you want a change of pace.
