Hotel Royal Evian Resort sits above Lake Geneva in Évian-les-Bains, close to the Swiss border and around an hour from Geneva Airport. The main golfing draw is the Evian Resort Golf Club, home of The Amundi Evian Championship on the LPGA Tour. The Champions Course is a tight, rolling parkland layout with elevated tees, tree-lined fairways, and constant lake and Alpine views throughout the round. It’s not especially long by modern standards, but the elevation changes, sloping greens, and strategic bunkering make it more demanding than the scorecard first suggests. The conditioning is excellent year-round, and the back nine in particular has a proper championship feel.
