Chervò Golf Hotel Spa & Resort sits a few minutes south of Lake Garda, surrounded by open countryside and within easy reach of Sirmione, Desenzano, and Verona. It’s a purpose-built golf resort with a relaxed feel throughout, designed mainly around the golf experience rather than flashy luxury.

The main draw is the golf complex itself. There are 36 holes on-site, including the Championship Course designed by Kurt Rossknecht, plus executive and academy layouts that give the resort plenty of flexibility for mixed groups and longer stays. The championship course is parkland in style, with wide fairways in places but enough water hazards, bunkering, and doglegs to keep you thinking. It’s playable for mid-handicappers without feeling too easy, and the flatter terrain makes it comfortable to walk.

Conditioning is usually very consistent, with quick greens and tidy fairways year-round. The practice facilities are also excellent, including a large driving range and short-game area.
