The hotel’s fantastic 18-hole course incorporates the hotel’s beautiful lakes, and beginners can make use of the club’s PGA academy, with golf lessons from PGA professional coaches.

The Slieve Russell has hosted some major Irish PGA Tournaments. These include The Irish PGA Championship in 1996 and a PGA Pro-Am, which has been held since 1997 and has now become an annual event and boasts one of the highest prize funds in Europe. The Slieve Russell has also played host to European Tour events - North West of Ireland Open in 2001 & 2002.
