The 18 hole, par 72, championship course at the Gloucester Golf Club has been designed to obtain the greatest possible benefit from the natural form of the hillside. The ground falls from a height of 600 feet to 200 feet, making the course the most interesting in the region. Brooks and small ponds have been woven into the landscape. Mature trees and wooded areas have been left as nature intended and give the course a natural beauty, and its golfers some natural hazards!

The first 11 holes will have you negotiating the lower slopes, with brooks running parallel and across the fairways. Enjoy the 12th, which is a challenging uphill par 3, before approaching the scenic holes that overlook Gloucester and the beautiful surrounding countryside. These holes call for some interesting and tricky shots, especially the downhill 18th, where many golfers have tried to drive the green with disastrous consequences.
