1. Selsdon Estate

The De Vere Selsdon Estate dates back to as early as 861AD and boasts a stunning 200-acre plot of land, featuring an 18-hole championship golf course. The Selsdon Golf Course opened its doors in 1959, however has since undergone major renovations making it the fantastic course it is today. In fact, it is considered one of the finest golf courses in South London. At Selsdon, you can enjoy undulating parklands and spectacular views of Surrey Downs. Located south east of London, just a twenty minute drive from Gatwick Airport is Lingfield Park Golf Course. 3. Tudor Park Golf Course

Nestled in the Garden of England, Tudor Park Country Club is recognised as one of Englands’ most picturesque golf destinations with its breathtaking countryside views, deer park and ancient pines. 4. Sandford Springs Golf Course

The Sandford Springs Golf Course is located just south west of London in Hampshire and offers panoramic views of the surrounding fields and Watership Down Hill. 5. Luton Hoo Golf Club Course

6. The Oxfordshire Course

10. Hanbury Manor Golf Course

Located in the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, a short train journey from North London, Hanbury Manor Golf Course is a must-visit on your next trip to the capital. Originally designed by Harry Vardon in the early 1900s, this now PGA-standard championship golf course underwent major renovations by renowned architect Jack Nicklaus II, and was reopened in 1991. 

Featuring a number of double fairways and tricky water hazards, Hanbury Manor serves up a testing challenge for golfers of all abilities. Golfers are to be warned of the 8th hole in particular – a difficult 425 yards with out-of-bounds running all along one side and a lake on the other.
